Set & Large Prop Construction

Working with local Toronto theatre companies & Canadian designers to make custom set pieces and soft goods for productions is something we’ll never get tired of!

We love getting the chance to creative problem-solve and deliver something that helps make the stories being told come alive.

Below is a selection of images from productions we’ve had a small hand in bringing to the stage.

FLEX — Crow’s Theatre

April 2025 Season

Set Design by Ken Mackenzie

  • Custom-covered Burgundy Gym mat for Crow’s Theatre

The Great Comet

Set Co-Designed by Julie Fox & Joshua Quinlan

  • Red Velour Drapes

  • Teaser Drop

AON originally created the red drapes for the Crow’s Theatre & The Musical Stage Company production of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 for its 2023/24 season at the Streetcar Crowsnest Theatre.

For the 2025 season, AON revamped the original drapes they had made to fit the redesign for the Royal Alex, and added some extra special touches to the new Teaser curtain for the Mirvish Co-Production at the Royal Alexandra Theatre.

Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812, by celebrated and award-winning composer Dave Malloy is based on a scandalous slice of Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace.”
